Café Support/Recovery Coach - Klickitat
Recovery Café of Clark County (RCCC) is looking for someone to join our team as a recovery coach and café support staff. We need someone local to the Klickitat County area!
RCCC is a non-profit with a mission to support recovery by empowering people through an ever-growing community of resources, real-time encouragement, and loving, compassion-driven accountability.
About this Role
The person for this position will be responsible for providing one-on-one recovery support services to individuals including outreach and long-term engagement. This role will also support the SW WA Pop-up Café located in Goldendale, WA with various daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, flexible, team oriented, and ideally someone with previous knowledge and/or experience with recovery support programs.
Responsibilities

Greet and welcome members in a friendly and supportive manner while ensuring to check them into the Café member database (Agency).

Prepare meals and coffee for members and conduct daily café announcements throughout the week when needed.

Maintain the visitor log, assuring that all non-members that enter the Café have been recorded.

Check-out each member as they leave the Café, always maintaining a positive and professional manner.

Stock and maintain café supplies.

General clean-up of Pop-up Café area, including locking up when leaving.

Collaborate with team and notify supervisor of any challenges that arise.

Maintain awareness and always promote a safe working environment.

Assist with the various café daily activities, events and always work to promote the Café model as well as the message and services of RCCC.

Engage and support individuals in recovery including identifying barriers to achieving/maintaining their recovery and encourage them with making progress on their weekly goals.

Be available to connect individuals to resources and advocate for members and participants as needed.

Develop and maintain files and daily documentation as needed for both weekly and monthly reports.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement will be provided) are recommended but not required (including auto insurance).

Ability to maintain an effective working relationship, including communication and collaboration with staff, participants, outside contacts, and in some cases the general public.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.

Ability to track and report program outcomes, navigate community services effectively, and perform basic math operations.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.

Computer skills and current technology experience.
-
Time management skills.
